Scarfie Star is a comic at the moment. But here's the basis of it.

Scarfie takes care of 2 kids that obviously arn't her kind, in fact, they both look human. And humans arn't even allowed to land on the planet due to the fact they are NOT like the kind on Everstar. (Mainly due to being to what humanity is today.) However, these things are allowed mainly because they are just living beings attempting to develop to Everstarian society.
